Storytelling or storyliving? How to produce 360 video content

About: In this workshop, IntoVR founder Susanne Dickel and VR journalist Christiane Wittenbrecher show you how to produce your own 360 video content and make fit to the requirements of various platforms, e.g. Facebook, HMDs and other channels. Find a story, make a video, edit and stitch it – and learn a thing or two about storytelling for immersive media and smooth production processes to boost your performance.
What you need to bring: If available: Laptop, 360 camera (for example Samsung Gear 360, Nikon Key Mission or Insta360One, find basic infos about beginner’s models here)

Getting started with developing for Microsoft HoloLens

Having taught VR/AR/MR to dozens of people at the VR-Developers meetup, Dinesh knows exactly how to get you going. This workshop will teach you the first steps of programming for Microsoft HoloLens.
What you need to bring: You have a computer running windows 10 and installed the following:
– WIndows 10 SDK
– Visual Studio 2017 (community edition is free)
– Windows Store.NET Scripting Backened (comes with Unity, simply check it)
– Windows Store IL2CPP Scripting Backend (comes with Unity, simply check it)
Programming or Unity knowledge is great, but not required. Otherwise don’t forget to bring patience and good vibes.

Micro FPV (first person view) drone: Build, Fly & Take Home

Ever wanted to fly an FPV drone? This workshop is for you. It includes upgrading a regular microdrone to support FPV, learn the basics of flying and of course testing out your newly built FPV micro drone under the guidance of an experienced FPV pilot. You can fly your micro drone indoors during dark and rainy days of winter, while immersing yourself in a new world of indoor flying. The workshop tutor is Vlad Micu, a business development professional, evangelist and free agent in the game industry. Recently Vlad also has been building, selling and teaching people how to fly with micro FPV (first person view) Tiny Whoop drones through www.FPVisionary.com. Mount your HMD and take it on a tour through a world which suddenly appears bigger.
